Budapest, Sparty Parties, and Spritzers

With both Adam and Napa Kyle gone, Napa Chris and I were the lone Oktobefest remainders on the trip and would be traveling to Budapest where we'd rendezvous with our wanderlusting friend Anna Fontus who'd be bopping over from Germany. (Anna joining us for the last leg of the trip had been decided over drinks before a free Franz Ferdinand concert at Sacramento's Concerts in the Park - it's worth mentioning that it was the infamous "Sparty Party" that got Anna on the hook to join us...more on that later).  Photography by Napa Chris - Anna and I after we embarrassing hopped a fence to get into a free community concert - thank you to the cocktails at 1010 room for the push to rendezvous in Budapest Napa Chris and I hopped on the train from Prague to Budapest together. Hungover as holy hell we took a bus (booked as what we thought was a train) from Munich to Prague.  I was highly concerned there weren't any barf bags at the ready considering Adam looked like he might hurl the entire ride there.   A few hours later we arrived in Prague (sans projectile vomiting on the sweet couple in front of us - thank God) and all felt well in the world.  As we went in search of our hostel (Hostel Orange Prague) where we'd be staying for the next 4 days (worth noting that our private room at the Hotel Orange smack in the middle of the action of Prague cost us a whopping $180 total for four days!) we found ourselves delighted by the vibrant and bustling streets and food carts of Prague (I've always been a sucker for glog/mulled wine - especially when you can buy it on the street and drink it in public.  We got some along with Trdelnik - a slovak rolled pastry they sell everywhere that is served hot right off the spindle!)   (Mulled wine and Trdeln
